So, I used to blog fairly often. Then I stopped. And to be honest, it was a random blog with no specific direction anyhow. I'm not entirely sure what all I'll be doing with this new blog, but I thought I'd give it a go again.
Why the title? I want to become more rooted in my faith. I want it to be said of me that I have a strong, sold foundation. And joy? Well, in 2016 I made it a Facebook theme to "choose joy." Though I've moved on to "being thankful" for this year, I'm not done with my joy journey. Joy's been a word/concept that's been a big idea in my life for a long time. Last year, I choose joy but didn't really examine it much. This year, on this blog, I plan to explore it more and write my thoughts and gleanings from Bible study on it.
Well, there's my blog intro. We shall see what happens!
